Private College in Merriam, Kansas looking for great candidates to join our team of faculty for the LPN program for multiple schedules. Nurses impact lives, and if you are retired and want to continue to impact lives through education, you are welcome to join us. Active nurses looking to teach and with no experience are also welcome to apply. The next cohort will begin in August 2025, but applicants who are hired will be starting before then for on-boarding and training.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Plan, teach and evaluate human biology, fundamentals of practical nursing, medical-surgical, nursing and other specialty areas in the classroom, laboratory, and clinical setting.

Implement academic counseling for assigned students.

Assume the obligations ordinarily associated with the teaching profession.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

BSN for LPN program

Unencumbered Kansas nursing license

Committed to diversity and serving a diverse population.

1-2 years teaching experience preferred but not required.

Excellent communication skills and ability to assist students gain knowledge needed to be successful in the program

Experience with instructing technology-based courses; alternative teaching strategies preferred.

Demonstrate a thorough and accurate knowledge of use of electronic communication and audiovisual equipment.

Compensation: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
