The Licensed Practical Nurse collaborates as a member of the nursing team to accomplish patient care activities and contributes to the implementation of patient care. The LPN is accountable for compliance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, applicable regulatory standards, and institutional policies and procedures. The LPN provides physical, emotional and spiritual support that directly/ indirectly impacts patient outcomes and care provided to patients/ families/ significant others.\n\nEducation\n\nMinimum Level of Education Required: Diploma Program Diploma Program \n\nLicensure/Certification/Registration\n\nValid Ohio Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license\n\nCurrent healthcare provider BLS certification required prior to completion of orientation \n\nExperience\n\nMinimum Level of Experience Required: No prior job-related work experience\n\nKnowledge/Skills\n\n * Must be able to multitask with constant interruptions while maintaining a pleasant demeanor \n * Basic computer knowledge\n * Strong organization skills \n * Effective interpersonal communication skills \n\n\n
