About the Opportunity

Ocean Mazda Roswell is seeking a dependable and motivated Lube Technician / Entry-Level Automotive Technician to join our Service Department.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, understands the importance of quality and safety, and wants the opportunity to develop their automotive skills in a professional dealership environment.

The ideal candidate is reliable, productive, detail-oriented, and committed to providing excellent service to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil and filter changes and routine maintenance services.


• Perform tire rotations, tire pressure checks, and basic tire services.


• Inspect and replace air filters, cabin filters, wiper blades, bulbs, and other maintenance items.


• Check and top off vehicle fluids as appropriate.


• Perform basic vehicle inspections and identify maintenance or safety concerns.


• Assist with battery testing and replacement.


• Accurately document completed work and inspection findings.


• Follow dealership and manufacturer service procedures.


• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.


• Properly use and maintain shop tools and equipment.


• Work efficiently with Service Advisors, Technicians, Parts personnel, and other members of the Service Department.


• Assist other technicians and service personnel when needed.


• Follow all dealership safety procedures and company policies.


• Complete assigned training and manufacturer certification requirements.


• Perform other service-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive maintenance or lube technician experience preferred.


• Automotive technical school training is a plus.


• Mazda or other franchise dealership experience is a plus but not required.


• Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to safely use automotive tools and equipment.


• Strong attention to detail.


• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced service environment.


• Dependable attendance and punctuality.


• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.


• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.


• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.


• Must be able to meet applicable pre-employment requirements.
