LUMBER/SALES POSITION

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Lumber Yard Associate who will also work part-time in our store. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist customers in the lumber yard with loading and unloading materials.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lumber yard.
• Operate forklifts and other equipment safely and efficiently.
• Provide assistance to customers in the store, including answering questions and helping them find products.
• Stock shelves and maintain inventory levels.
• Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.
• Ensure a positive customer experience by providing excellent service.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a lumber yard or similar environment a plus.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks in all weather conditions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Forklift certification is a plus or willing to learn.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
