As the Marketing Coordinator, you will be part of the backbone of our daily marketing and communication operations. This dynamic, multi-faceted role is for a marketer who lives and breathes snowboard culture, understands data-driven digital marketing, and can balance brand storytelling with e-commerce execution. You will bridge the gap between our internal creative vision, our external agencies, and our global audience.
Campaign Management: Own the end-to-end execution of the Bataleon email marketing calendar, ensuring timely delivery of product launches, brand stories, and seasonal campaigns.
Agency Liaison: Act as the primary, day-to-day point of contact for our external email marketing agency. Provide them with clear briefs, assets, and feedback to maintain brand integrity.
E-Commerce Bridge: Seamlessly connect brand-led storytelling with a robust e-commerce strategy. Ensure email campaigns are optimized to drive site traffic, support product drops, and tell the Bataleon story authentically.
Flows & Segmentation: Collaborate with the agency to monitor automated flows (welcome series, abandoned cart, etc.) and segment lists to deliver highly relevant content to snowboarders worldwide.
(20-30%) Social Media Marketing
Content Execution: Help organize, implement, and execute Bataleon’s global social media strategy across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and emerging platforms.
Trend & Brand Alignment: Stay hyper-aware of current social media trends, audio, and platform features, adapting to them in ways that remain on-brand for Bataleon.
Community Engagement: Foster community growth by actively engaging with followers, resharing user-generated content, and keeping a pulse on what riders are saying online.
(10-20%) Content Organization & Gatekeeping
Asset Management: Act as the ultimate gatekeeper for all consumer-facing digital content. Ensure that every video, photo, and copy block represents Bataleon’s look, feel, and brand identity.
Asset Distribution: Keep internal asset folders and media libraries highly organized so the team, retailers, and distributors can easily access the latest seasonal assets and broadcast our message.
(10-20%) Miscellaneous Marketing Support
Fill the Gaps: Do what marketers do best: adapt. Jump in where needed to support the wider team.
Logistics & Promo: Coordinate the shipping and tracking of marketing products, promo gear, and rider packages.
Seasonal Milestones: Help prep documents, decks, and assets for major seasonal milestones, catalog launches, and sales meetings.
Requirements
Key Qualifications
Experience: 1–3 years of experience in digital marketing, social media coordination, or e-commerce marketing (action sports or outdoor industry experience is a massive plus).
Platform Knowledge: Familiarity and proficiency with email marketing platforms (Klaviyo) and social media management tools.
Snowboard Fluent: Talk the talk, you understand the difference between camber profiles, and you are deeply connected to snowboard culture.
Organization Skills: Exceptional project management skills; you can keep an agency on track while simultaneously planning a TikTok calendar.
Hustle: A proactive, "no task too small" attitude. You're just as excited to pack promo boxes as you are to review high-level campaign metrics.
Who You Are:
A Snowboarder at Heart: You understand the nuance of the industry. You know the difference between a "core" shop and a big-box retailer, and you know how to talk to both.
A Strategic Thinker: You understand how a well-timed email supports a retail launch which supports a pro-team edit.
An Expert Communicator: You can write impactful copy, a formal brand deck, and a clear directive for a global distributor—all before lunch.
Detail-Oriented: You’re a master of the calendar. Setting deadlines, and the workback plan to get the team to the end-goal (Global Domination)
