Builders Source Appliance Gallery is seeking a Luxury Home Appliance Sales Consultant to join our showroom sales team. In this role, you will work directly with homeowners, builders, remodelers, designers, and other customers to identify their needs, recommend premium appliance solutions, prepare quotes, close sales, and support the customer experience from the first conversation through delivery.

What You’ll Do

As a Luxury Home Appliance Sales Consultant, you will:

• Sell premium and high-end appliances to homeowners, builders, remodelers, multi-family developers, and other Builders Source customers.


• Work toward meeting or exceeding assigned sales, gross margin, and performance goals.


• Welcome and assist customers in the showroom, over the phone, and through email.


• Ask questions to understand customer needs, lifestyle, project requirements, budget, and design preferences.


• Guide customers through appliance selections and recommend products and solutions that meet their needs.


• Explain product features, benefits, specifications, care requirements, warranties, availability, lead times, delivery expectations, and installation considerations.


• Prepare professional and accurate quotes and proposals.


• Enter and maintain sales orders, customer information, and account activity in company systems.


• Follow orders from the point of sale through delivery, installation, and issue resolution.


• Maintain proactive communication with customers regarding product availability, order status, delivery timing, and other updates.


• Recommend complementary products, accessories, upgrades, and services when appropriate.


• Generate new sales opportunities through showroom traffic, inbound inquiries, outbound calls and emails, referrals, and ongoing relationship development.


• Build long-term relationships with homeowners, builders, designers, remodelers, and other customers.


• Collaborate with outside sales representatives, warehouse teams, delivery personnel, installers, and other internal departments to support successful order completion.


• Maintain strong working knowledge of luxury appliance brands, product specifications, pricing programs, availability, lead times, delivery practices, and installation requirements.


• Maintain a polished, organized, welcoming, and sales-ready showroom environment.


• Remain available on the showroom floor throughout scheduled showroom hours to assist customers and support daily operations.


• Represent Builders Source Appliance Gallery professionally and contribute to an exceptional customer experience.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a Luxury Home Appliance Sales Consultant who combines sales ability, customer service, professionalism, and strong follow-through.

The ideal candidate is confident working directly with customers and enjoys helping them navigate an important purchasing decision. You should be comfortable asking questions, recommending solutions, explaining product differences, and closing sales while maintaining a consultative and service-focused approach.

Success in this position also requires strong organization. Luxury appliance purchases often involve multiple products, delivery dates, installation requirements, builders, designers, and other project stakeholders. You’ll need to keep accurate records, communicate proactively, and coordinate effectively with multiple internal teams.

• Initiative in developing new sales opportunities and strengthening customer relationships.


• Commitment to maintaining a professional, organized, and welcoming showroom.


• Flexibility to support showroom coverage throughout scheduled business hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.


• Approximately 2 or more years of sales experience in retail, outbound sales, showroom sales, appliance sales, or a related customer-facing sales environment preferred.


• Experience in appliances, luxury retail, home improvement, building products, interior design, construction, wholesale distribution, or a similar industry is preferred.


• Proven work history of dependability, customer relationship development, and achievement of sales goals.


• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, SharePoint, Word, Excel, internet applications, and mobile devices.


• Familiarity with ERP, order-management, CRM, or Salesforce systems is preferred.


• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.


• Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred.
