The

Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst

will work closely with SBG and SBU
leadership to align with the strategic direction and various organic and
inorganic growth initiatives.You will be given a unique opportunity to
impact inorganic growth of the business by performing Industry and Company
research to continuously track and maintain a robust M&A pipeline for the
SBU in line with its strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop in-depth knowledge of the segments and the players in which Honeywell’s Industrial Automation (“IA”) strategic business group (“SBG”) and Honeywell’s Process Solution (“HPS”) strategic business unit (“SBU”) competes.
Work closely with SBG and SBU leadership to align with the strategic direction and various organic and inorganic growth initiatives.
Perform Industry and Company research to continuously track and maintain a robust M&A pipeline for the SBU in line with its strategic priorities. Engage with bankers, private equity and other external parties in the process.
Analyze target companies and prepare a detailed business case for acquisition including strategic intent, financial rational and integration principles.
Develop materials (PowerPoint presentations, White papers and other documents) for supporting the M&A approval processes, including reviews at SBU, SBG and Corporate level.
For each active transaction, support all aspects of M&A execution while working with partners in the SBU, SBG and Corporate M&A teams.
Lead and/or support large cross-functional teams through transaction processes of all sizes, including corporate M&A, SBG and SBU commercial, strategy, and finance teams as well as functional teams.
Support the training and development of junior resources and functional teams; contribute to continuous process improvements.
Must Have:
3+years of progressive experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity
Proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and other similar tools for creating materials and documents to support internal analysis and review.
WE VALUE
Bachelor's degree in finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, Engineeringor related field
Working knowledge of US GAAP; IFRS accounting standards
Capital IQ, Fact set, Thompson, Excel, PowerPoint experience
Engage in constructive dialogue on model assumptions
Engage to understand strategy and business implications
Strong team player
Excellent communication, written, and presentation skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
