The Memphis Area Association of REALTORS® (MAAR) is one of Tennessee's largest local REALTOR® associations, encompassing Shelby, Fayette, Tipton, Hardin, Hardeman, and McNairy Counties. MAAR's focus is serving and representing real estate professionals as well as providing real estate information to the public. Our mission is to work in cooperation with REALTORS® to create a favorable environment for real estate commerce through legislative advocacy, standards enforcement, database management, communication, and professional development.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized MAARdata Support Specialist to assist with the management and upkeep of the property records database system available to subscribers via MAARdata.org. The ideal candidate will have strong data entry skills, an eye for detail, and a willingness to support the broader data team in ensuring the accuracy and usability of property records. This role is essential in helping maintain smooth daily operations and providing support to staff, members, and appraisers.
WHAT YOUR DAY LOOKS LIKE
◆ Assist with the distribution of MAARdata Residential Reports and related email communications.
◆ Help create and maintain parcel records using data from county plats, MLGW, and other available sources.
◆ Enter and maintain sales, appraisal, and MLS data, including seller concessions submitted by appraisers.
◆ Support annual tax roll updates and maintain current tax rates and street indexes for covered counties.
◆ Perform routine data quality reviews and resolve errors or inconsistencies to maintain accurate and reliable records.
◆ Respond to appraiser and member inquiries regarding data submissions, records, and usage.
◆ Contribute to special projects and support other MAARdata functions as needed.
REQUIRED SKILLS
◆ Strong data entry, organizational, and records management skills.
◆ Working knowledge of database systems and basic data processing practices.
◆ Effective written and verbal communication skills.
◆ Strong attention to detail with a consistent commitment to data accuracy and quality.
◆ Ability to follow established procedures, manage assigned responsibilities independently, and collaborate effectively as part of a team.
PREFERRED SKILLS
◆ Previous experience in real estate, property records, appraisal, or a related field.
◆ Familiarity with MLS systems, tax roll data, or other property information systems.
◆ General understanding of appraisal data, property assessments, or real estate data practices.
Compensation & Benefits:
◆ Competitive Compensation: $39,000 - $47,000 per year
