Machine / Lathe & Mill Operator 1st shift

People Architects is excited to partner with a precision machining services manufacturing plant based in Solon, Ohio. We are seeking a highly experienced Large Part CNC Machinist. The plant is a well-established contract machine shop founded in 1945. Their business specializes in the production of high-quality, low-volume precision components.

We are seeking skilled CNC Machine / Lathe & Mill Operator with experience in Fanuc control and a solid understanding of modern CNC turning centers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the setup and operation of 2 to 5-axis turning machines and 3 to 5-axis machining centers. Knowledge of tooling and basic program troubleshooting is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC turning machines and machining centers.
  
  


• Ensure proper tooling configuration and machine settings.
  
  


• Troubleshoot basic machining issues during operation.
  
  


• Work on producing large, high-value, low-volume precision components (1 to 10 pieces).
  
  

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in CNC machine setup and operation.
  
  


• Proficient in reading blueprints and interpreting drawings.
  
  


• Strong knowledge of tooling and offsets.
  
  


• Ability to follow written instructions and procedures.
  
  


• Solid problem-solving and math skills.
  
  


• Own tools required.
