Machine Oiler & Coolant Tech

Duties/Responsibilities:

·         Check, maintain, and replenish coolant levels in CNC machines.

·         Monitor coolant concentration using testing equipment and adjust as needed.

·         Fill and maintain machine lubrication systems with the appropriate oils and lubricants.

·         Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks on CNC machines.

·         Clean coolant tanks, filters, and machine reservoirs.

·         Remove chips and debris from machines as needed.

·         Safely dispose of used coolant, oils, and waste materials according to company and environmental guidelines.

·         Inspect machines for fluid leaks, unusual noises, or maintenance concerns and report findings to Maintenance.

·         Maintain accurate maintenance and fluid level records.

·         Keep work areas clean and organized using 5S principles.

·         Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company policies.

           Assist maintenance personnel with basic machine upkeep and other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

·         High school diploma or GED preferred.

·         Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.

·         Previous manufacturing experience is a plus but not required.

·         Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

·         Basic math skills.

·         Strong attention to detail and reliability.

Education and Experience:

·         Experience working in a manufacturing or machine shop environment.

·         Familiarity with CNC equipment, machine lubrication, or coolant systems.

·         Basic mechanical or maintenance experience.

·           Forklift experience is a plus.
