Job Overview

As a Machine Operator at CyCan Industries, you will play a critical role in our manufacturing process by operating and maintaining various production machines, including cappers, tippers, fillers, marble droppers, valve droppers, and can crimpers. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the quality of products, troubleshooting machine issues, performing product changeovers, and rotating between different line positions as needed. You must have a keen attention to detail, strong math skills, and the ability to read and follow the production schedule. It is required that you have the ability to lift 50 pounds or more, operate tools, and stack pallets.

Responsibilities

· Operate and maintain manufacturing machines, including cappers, tippers, fillers, marble droppers, valve droppers, and can crimpers.

· Ensure the quality of products by performing regular quality control checks.

· Troubleshoot machine issues and perform minor repairs as needed.

· Execute product changeovers efficiently and according to schedule.

· Rotate between different line positions to meet production needs.

· Box finished products and stack pallets for shipping.

· Utilize tools and equipment safely and effectively.

· Read and follow the production schedule to prioritize tasks.

· Maintain a clean and organized work area.

· Adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong math skills and ability to perform basic calculations.
• Prefer bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds or more and perform physical tasks as required.
• Strong reading and comprehension skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot machine issues.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.

Working Conditions:

· On-site, daily presence required.

· Exposure to a manufacturing environment and potentially hazardous materials.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
