McIntosh Box and Pallet is hiring for 1st Machine Operator to join our team in Benson, NC!

We are looking for a technically skilled individual with excellent attention to detail to join our team as a 2nd Shift Machine Operator in Benson, NC!

Shift: 3pm to 11:30pm Monday to Friday

Pay: $14 per hour

A Machine Operator will be responsible for operating wood processing equipment to cut material. The goal will be to ensure that products are cut accurately, and safely. This individual will be responsible, hardworking, and a team player.

Machine Operator's Job Responsibilities:

• Process lumber on a variety of equipment
• Set up the machinery to process lumber
• Ability to move materials around the floor
• Stacking lumber from machine outfeeds
• Set up and operate machines in accordance with established procedures and safety guidelines
• Comfortable with fast-paced and changing priorities
• Operate various manufacturing equipment
• Work safely while maintaining a clean and safe work environment

Requirements

• Ability to read a tape measure, have basic math and computer skills
• Lift, push and/or pull 50 lbs., stand, walk, bend and kneel throughout the entire shift
• Preferred experience with lumber processing equipment and forklift
• Sawmill experience a plus
