Machine Operator

Description

Responsibilities

• Operate & monitor multiple Press Machines as assigned
• Must meet required Production goals and quotas
• Proper setup, Operation and Maintenance of equipment with progressive dies
• Must be able to do light Maintenance as required on Machines and dies.
• Ability to balance safety, quality & efficiency
• Accurately capture and record necessary operating data
• Following established methods and procedures to produce material to specification
• Assisting in regular cleaning and preventative equipment maintenance activities as directed
• Communicate quality and product process issues between work groups
• Perform duties with a goal to continuously improve quality and productivity
• Demonstrate strong Safety, Quality and Customer focus
• Must have excellent reading and math skills
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time in extreme heat and cold

 Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have own transportation (public transportation not available for all shifts)
• Must have 2 years prior experience with Press Machine Operation
• Must pass Background, Drug Screen and 75# Lifting/Back Strength Evaluation
• Must have Valid ID for I-9 Verification
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Must be able to lift 75 pounds
