Machine Operator

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our 1st shift production team. This role involves operating various machinery. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and ready to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Operate machinery in a safe and efficient manner according to company standards

• Perform start-up, shut-down, and regular operational checks on equipment

• Follow all process and safety instructions related to melting and casting metals

• Handle molten material using appropriate tools and safety gear

• Pour metal into molds accurately and safely

• Monitor temperature, flow, and timing to ensure consistent casting quality

• Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality compliance

• Perform basic maintenance and cleaning on machines and equipment

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace

• Complete necessary production documentation and reporting

• Work effectively with team members and leadership to meet production goals

Compensation:
Pay will be offered based on several factors including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, and certifications.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous machine operating experience preferred

• Experience in metals and casting a strong plus

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Ability to follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures

• Strong attention to safety, detail, and quality

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods

• Basic math and measurement skills

• Comfortable working in high-heat environments with proper PPE

• Willingness to learn and cross-train in other departments as needed

• Must be reliable, punctual, and a team player
