Machine Operator

Egger Steel Company, a leading provider of structural steel fabrication in the Upper Midwest for over 80 years, is seeking a skilled machine operator to join our team in Sioux Falls, SD. Current schedule is 6:00AM-4:30PM Mon-Thu; 6:00AM-3:30PM Fri; 6:00AM-12:00PM Sat (optional). We offer a competitive wage with opportunity for advancement.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a machine operator or similar manufacturing role

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints to determine machine settings and production specifications

• Set up, operate, and maintain equipment independently

• Conduct basic troubleshooting of mechanical issues and report complex problems to maintenance or supervision
• Accurately use a tape measure with speed and precision
• Work collaboratively with others in a team-oriented environment
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency
• Pre-employment drug testing
• Background check
• Shop physical
