Machine Operator

Nitterhouse Masonry Products, LLC, a producer of block, brick, pavers, and retaining wall block, is looking to immediately fill a Machine Operator role at its Chambersburg location. 

Schedule:

• Monday - Thursday
• 6:00 am - 4:00 pm
• Overtime on Fridays as needed

Responsibilities:

• Operate manufacturing machines with basic computer skills
• Work on concrete production line, pulling defective product and placing finished products on pallets
• Work with team members to complete daily production goals
• Perform periodic checks on equipment and solve problems as detected
• Ensure that equipment is in proper working order and report any suspected problems to supervisor
• Inspect product for any quality control issues
• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery as needed
• Observe and follow company safety rules and regulations
• Clean machine properly as necessary
• Maintain a clean working environment
