Machine Operator (3rd Shift)

Description

Operate production machines. Check manufactured product for print compliance.

3rd Shift, 7% Shift Differential Pay. 

Requirements

• Manufacture driveline components to print specifications.
• Perform applicable Quality Assurance checks.
• Document quality and production metrics.
• Perform machine preventive maintenance.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area.
• Identify applicable sections of production schedule and prepare for daily tasks.
• Light machine corrective maintenance.
• Material handling.
• Process improvements and fixturing.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

• Basic CNC programming knowledge, both Mazatrol and “G” code.
• Ability to read and interpret blue prints.
• Comprehensive knowledge of geometric tolerancing.
• Cursory knowledge of SPC and ISO requirements.

Qualifications

• One year experience in a production manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Ability to document quality and production metrics.
