Machine Operator, Reduction

About the Role

Elmet Technologies, a subsidiary of The Elmet Group, manufactures precision materials used in aerospace, defense, semiconductor, and medical industries. We’re hiring a Machine Operator to support our Reduction team and help keep production running safely and efficiently.

This is a hands-on role operating equipment, performing setups, monitoring processes, and supporting quality output.

What You’ll Do

• Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment
• Perform machine setups and changeovers
• Verify product quality using measuring tools
• Complete production logs and maintain traceability
• Perform daily inspections and maintain 5S standards
• Assist with minor equipment troubleshooting
• Operate forklifts, cranes, and industrial tools
• Cross-train across multiple machines

What We’re Looking For

• 3–5 years manufacturing or industrial experience
• Ability to work overnight and weekends
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Reliable attendance and safety mindset
• Preferred: High School Diploma/GED and ability to maintain forklift and crane licenses
