What We’re Looking For
An experienced Machine Operator to efficiently and effectively work in our sawing department. This work facilitates the production of company products and custom orders.
What You’ll Do
Under the direct supervision of the department supervisor/team lead, you will operate machinery to facilitate daily orders.
What We Need From You
- Ability to operate machine without supervision
- Ability to complete minor machine set up
- Select material, accurately measure and cut
- Ability to follow demonstrated or written work instructions
- Ability to read blue prints with minor assistance
- Quality assurance on parts and product
- Detailed Inventory Management
- Ability to preplan and utilize forward thinking
- Ability to identify errors in parts and make corrections
- Ability to keep pace with order standards and production expectations
- No programming experience necessary
- Willing to work occasional evenings
- Additional duties as needed.
Education/Experience And Must Haves
1 – 3 years of industrial experience
- Knowledge of metalworking industry, equipment, and processes.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, stoop, walk, or sit for long periods of time.
- Must be capable of working in inclement conditions to include extreme hot and cold temperatures.
- Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
