Job Description - Machine Programmer

PEKO is a full-service, debt-free, privately-owned contract manufacturer with over 50 years embedded in the Rochester, NY community. In collaboration with our valued business partners, we deliver new product development (NPI) strategies for product commercialization and provide solutions in the medical, industrial, defense, and renewable energy industries. The Opportunity: Machine Programmer

Your Role: The Machine Programmer develops, modifies, and evaluates computer programs for a variety of equipment. In this role, you will fully utilize the machine’s capabilities to maximize material utilization and productivity, as well as ensure computer programs produce parts that meet quality and cost expectations. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating programs to manufacture parts based on engineering blueprints.

Reports To: Machining Supervisor

What We’re Looking For:

1-3 years programming experience with Gibbs Cam.
Ability to read and understand blueprints and engineering specifications.
Capable of using measuring devices for equipment set-up and product inspection.
High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
