Utilizing knowledge of product design, materials, machining processes, tooling, and machine capabilities, this position will also coordinate production times and staffing requirements to ensure on-time delivery for shop operations. In addition, the Supervisor will mentor, coach, and train team members on best practices and overall operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop the machine shop team to work efficiently and meet production deadlines
• Oversee team production for optimal resource utilization and quality output
• Set up and operate CNC milling and lathe machines
• Collaborate closely with the Process Supervisor to manage machine output and programming
• Communicate with the engineering team to establish best practices for manufacturability of parts
• Enforce and follow workplace safety standards
• Assist team members in other areas as needed to meet daily production goals
• Support problem-solving and continuous improvement in the machine shop
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Associates degree in CNC machining preferred
• 3+ years of CNC Programming, ideally in FeatureCam
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work overtime as required
