Job Description - Machinery Engineer Specialist II - Compression Facility Engineer

Compensation: $53/hr
Job Title: Machinery Engineer Specialist II – Compression Facility Engineer
Location: Carlsbad, NM
Schedule: 5 Days On / 2 Days Off (Approx. 40 hrs/week)

Summary:
Machinery engineer supporting 6-8 large compressor stations handling an average of 210mmscfd each in the Delaware Basin. Provides design engineering and operational support to identify and execute improvements in reliability, integrity, safety and debottlenecking.
Job Responsibilities Summary:

General experience with Cat 3616 drivers and Ariel reciprocating compressors
Experience in larger facility projects such as piping changes, equipment installations, etc.
Will need to travel to Carlsbad, NM 3 times per week

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related engineering specialty
Must have 6+ years of mechanical/machinery/compressor engineering experience
Strong knowledge of discipline design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria
Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite software programs
Read, write, and speak fluent English, especially as it applies to technical and business communications
