Machinist, Grade A - 1st Shift

Description

Machines and fabricates metal parts by operating mechanical equipment. Must be capable of efficiently setting-up and operating one or more different type machines and completing to prescribed specifications any machining job assigned. Must be able to skillfully and efficiently use and read blueprints, design sketches, instructions, measuring equipment and to interpret information to ensure dimensional and close tolerance specifications of .001” of finished product. May not refuse training. May perform a variety of tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Accredited machinist certification.
• 3-5 years of machining experience.
• Very good physical condition.
• Ability to ascend and descend large equipment.
• Ability to lift, push and pull heavy items.
• Ability to work with limited supervision to production standards and requirements.
• Availability for shift work and overtime required.
