Position Overview

dormakaba is seeking a first shift (6:00AM-2:30PM) Machinist II-CNC based in Indianapolis, IN. The Machinist II-CNC is responsible for performing machine setups, tool changes, and adjusting as necessary.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $23hr - $30/hr  and mandatory overtime as needed (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data). $2,000 Sign-on Bonus (details provided during interview)

What you will do

• Follow operation instructions; operate machine according to standard operating instructions


• Document and inspect quality of work per Quality Assurance Inspection Procedure (QAIP).


• Using micrometers, height gauges, calipers, and comparator

What we require

• High school diploma or equivalent.


• Extensive experience operating, setups, tool changes, etc.


• Understanding of shop math & blueprint reading/comprehension Geometric Dimensional and Tolerance (GD&T).


• Ability to perform advanced quality inspections.


• Professional communication skills.
