Job Responsibilities
Fabricate precision tooling and prototype parts
Thorough knowledge and ability to set-up and operate lathes, mills and surface grinders
Maintain and repair hot runner systems
CNC set-up, program and operate
Maintain, repair and retrofit injection mold components
Weld, fabricate, rework or maintain tools, tooling, assemblies, manufacturing parts, production items and plant infrastructure
Inspect and correct welds as necessary to meet production specifications
Work with engineers, and process technicians in regard to mold repairs, and repair in the machine
Follows all safety standards and procedures according to OSHA and ANSI regulations and standards
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required
3-5 years experience in a machinist environment preferred
Journeyman tool and die/machinist card is a plus
Must be willing to stay current with technology through continuous education
Excellent communication skills internally and externally
Needs to be a strong team player, with exceptional organization and problem solving skills
Knowledge of TIG welding
Gibbs Cam and SolidWorks knowledge a plus
Background in injection molding with the ability to maintain, repair and trouble shoot injection molds is a plus
