Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and hard-working individual to join our team as a Boarding/Kennel Attendant. In this role, you will be responsible for the daily care, feeding, and supervision of pets staying at our facility. You’ll help ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all animals and assist in providing an excellent experience for both pets and their owners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide daily care for boarding animals, including feeding, watering, and cleaning enclosures.
   


• Walk dogs and provide enrichment activities as needed.
   


• Monitor animal health and behavior, reporting any concerns to veterinary staff.
   


• Administer medications and treatments as directed.
   


• Clean and disinfect kennels, play areas, and across the clinic according to established protocols.
   


• Bathe and groom animals as needed or requested.
   


• Assist with drop-off and pick-up of pets, ensuring accurate communication with clients.
   


• Maintain accurate records for feeding, medications, and observations.
   


• Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure the well-being of pets and staff.
   


• Work collaboratively with other team members and veterinary staff to support smooth daily operations.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
   


• Prior experience with animals preferred but not required.
   


• Must be comfortable handling dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments.
   


• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
   


• Strong attention to detail and a passion for animal care.
   


• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
   


• Availability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts as needed.
   

Work Environment:

• Indoor and outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
   


• Fast-paced, hands-on environment with frequent animal interactions.


• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
