Mahr Park - Seasonal Crew Worker

TITLE: SEASONAL CREW WORKER

PURPOSE OF CLASSIFICATION:

The purpose of this classification is to perform unskilled to semi-skilled manual labor work at Mahr Park

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The following duties are normal for this position. Omitting specific duty statements does not exclude them from the classification if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment for this classification. Other duties may be required and assigned.

Housekeeping & Facility Cleaning

•  Perform routine cleaning of park facilities, restrooms, rental spaces, offices, and other assigned areas.
•  Sweep, dust, mop, vacuum, sanitize, etc., and keep spaces clean and presentable.
•  Complete regular and deep-cleaning duties as scheduled or as needed.

Laundry & Linens

•  Collect, wash, dry, fold, and properly store linens, towels, and other park-related laundry.
•  Maintain clean and organized linen storage areas and ensure adequate supplies are available for facility needs.

Janitorial Supplies & Inventory

•  Monitor inventory of toilet paper, paper products, cleaning chemicals, laundry supplies, and other janitorial materials.
•  Maintain organized supply areas and communicate when supplies need to be reordered or replenished.

Facility & Janitorial Needs

•  Assist with restroom and facility upkeep, trash removal, sanitizing, and other general janitorial duties.
•  Respond to cleaning and housekeeping needs for park events, rentals, and high-use areas.
•  Identify and report maintenance, safety, or facility concerns to the appropriate supervisor.

General Park Operations

•  Assist with general park maintenance and daily operations as needed, including litter removal, event setup, cleanup, and upkeep of park grounds and facilities.
•  Work cooperatively with the park crew and other staff to help maintain a clean, safe, welcoming, and well-maintained park environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall operation of the park.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:

Performs other related duties as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

•  Possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent
•  Possess and maintain a valid Kentucky Driver’s license
•  Work outside in all weather conditions
•  Must be available to work on weekends and holidays
