📌 Job Opening: Mail Clerk (Onsite)
Req #: 8071 | Division: Special Services – AZ Industrial Commission (AZICA)
Location: 800 W. Washington Street, Phoenix, AZ 85288
Contract Duration: Through 11/21/2025
Application Deadline: Tuesday, 9/10/2025 @ 3:00 PM (MST)
Shift Hours: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | 40 Hours/Week

Position Summary:

The Mail Clerk will support the Special Services Division of the Industrial Commission of Arizona (AZICA) with mailroom operations. This includes handling incoming and outgoing mail, operating mail processing equipment, and assisting customers with mail-related inquiries.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Process incoming and outgoing mail/packages within the Industrial Commission building and for external agencies/organizations

  • Operate mail folding and insertion machine

  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding mail services

  • Deliver excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders



Required Skills & Knowledge:

  • Working knowledge of mail services and best practices

  • Ability to prioritize workloads and select appropriate mailing methods

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar)

  • Familiarity with office document types, internal policies, and procedures



Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working in a mailroom or post office environment


 



Compensation: $15.00 per hour
