Work hours 8am-5pm M-F

What’s a typical day as a Mail Room Worker? You’ll be:
• Assisting with loading and unloading merchandise or material from cars or trucks.
• Helping pack and unpack shipments, including processing, scanning, and shelving parts.
• Maintaining clean and safe working environments by sweeping and mopping floors.
• Assisting with general maintenance tasks such as light painting, carpentry, and basic repairs of tools.
• Maintaining the upkeep of the stockroom and other storage areas to improve space usage.
• Performing labeling of materials under required procedures.
• Auditing warehouse inventory reports using physical checks to ensure accurate system accounting.
• Using existing procedures to tackle straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
• Delivering your own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and mentorship.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a High School Diploma with up to 2 years of job-related experience.
• Have physical capabilities to stoop, stand, climb, and frequently lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Have the ability to follow basic work routines and standards.
• Have interpersonal skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Have a solid understanding of Microsoft Office products, such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Have strong organizational skills with an inquisitive approach.
• Have basic math skills, including the ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.
