The Mailroom Clerkis responsible forperforming activities as assigned to ensure an efficient workflow of mailroom operations, including receipt, sorting, and processing of incoming mail and outgoing mail. This position is also responsible for collaborating with employees to assist with the tracking of all mail and packages received.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Accurately sort incoming mail to submit to the document imaging team for scanning.
  • Including, but not limited to; date stamping mail, tallying incoming mail volume, and sorting mail by company lines of business.
  • Filing all incoming mail by received date order and maintaining priority and time-sensitive incoming mail file drawer
  • Maintain the incoming priority and time-sensitive inventory logs
  • Actively contributes to the achievement of departmental goals, as identified in the Department’s annual business plan, including specific departmental process improvement plans, and other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma – Required
  • 2+ years of Clerical Experience – Required
  • Able to Lift/Carry up to 20lbs – Required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) – Required
  • Excellent organization, coordination, and multi-tasking skills and abilities.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks and work independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and deadline
  • Problem Analysis
  • Attention to Detail

Job Details:

  • Schedule: M-F 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
  • Starting at $22/hr. (based on experience) + benefits.
  • Full benefits – healthcare, dental, vision, 401k program.
  • Temp-to-Hire opportunity.
