Main Admitting Clerk

Southeast Texas HR is seeking a dependable Main Admitting Clerk to join our team in the hospital and healthcare industry. As a leader in recruiting and HR services, we provide excellent career opportunities for candidates with the right skills and experience. Will work 30 to 55 hours per week.

• Greet and register patients as they enter the Hospital.
  


• Obtain patient consent and signature for treatment and procedures.
  


• Collect patient demographics and enter into the computer.
  


• Answer and direct incoming calls.
  


• Verify insurance information and communicate with insurance providers.
  


• Collect co-pays and outstanding balances at the time of registration.
  


• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  


• Pay will be $14+ per hour.
  


• Shifts will be days and some weekends, hours between 5:30am-7pm.
  


• Temp to Perm positions available.
  


• Excellent benefits when you roll to the company's payroll.
  

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
  


• 2 years experience in a medical office.
  


• Experience in verifying insurance.
  


• Proficiency in computer skills and data entry.
  


• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  


• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  


• Ability to work between 5:30am - 7pm, weekends and holidays.
  


• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
  


• Must be able to obtain your immunization records.
