Mainframe System Team Leader

abra R&D is seeking a Mainframe System Team Leader

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Mainframe System professional to lead the infrastructure team and manage critical z/OS environments in a high-availability production setting.

Full-time + hybrid position based in Central Israel (Lod)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a mainframe infrastructure team and its tasks
• Install, upgrade, and maintain z/OS systems and related components
• Ensure system availability and handle infrastructure incidents
• Collaborate with development, operations, and network teams

• 3+ years of experience in team management – Must
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with z/OS, TSO, SDSF, and JCL – Must
• Familiarity with infrastructure scripting using REXX – Advantage
• Experience with enterprise hardware (e.g., storage arrays, tape libraries, switches) – Advantage
• High self-learning ability and excellent interpersonal skills
