Horne Mazda in Avondale is looking for an experienced Mainline Automotive Technician to join our busy service department.

We’re looking for technicians who can confidently diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive concerns and who take pride in producing quality work. What You'll Do

• Perform automotive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs
  

• Accurately diagnose customer concerns and vehicle issues
  

• Complete multi-point inspections
  

• Perform warranty repairs according to Mazda manufacturer specifications
  

• Use diagnostic equipment, scan tools and special service tools
  

• Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, suspension, brakes, steering, electrical, HVAC and other vehicle systems
  

• Properly document diagnostic procedures and completed repairs
  

• Communicate repair recommendations with Service Advisors
  

• Maintain an organized and professional work area
  

• Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining quality standards
  

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of automotive dealership technician experience required
  

• Mainline technician experience required
  

• Import or Mazda experience preferred
  

• Mazda certifications strongly preferred
  

• EV certification is a plus
  

• Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills
  

• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment
  

• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
  

• Professional, team-oriented attitude
  

• Basic computer skills
  

• Valid Arizona driver's license with a clean driving record
