Maintance assistant

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Assistant supports a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents by performing routine maintenance and repairs. This role plays an important part in resident care by ensuring the facility is well-maintained and treating residents with dignity and respect.

Key Responsibilities:

  Perform basic repairs (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.)

  Complete regular maintenance and safety checks

  
  


• 
  

  Respond quickly to maintenance requests

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain clean, safe work areas and equipment

  
  


• 
  

  Assist with room setups and facility changes

  
  


• 
  

  Interact respectfully with residents and support their well-being through quality work

  
  


• 
  

  Follow all safety and emergency procedures

  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  

  High school diploma or GED

  
  


• 
  

  Maintenance or handyman experience preferred

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to safely use hand and power tools

  
  


• 
  

  Respectful, courteous attitude toward residents and staff

  
  


• 
  

  Must pass background and health screenings

  
  


• 
  

  Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform hands-on work
