REPORTS DIRECTLY TO: OPERATIONS MANAGER

SUMMARY:

The Maintenance/Janitorial person is responsible for maintaining premise repairs and cleanliness as well as equipment repairs. The Maintenance/Janitorial person exhibits superior customer service at all times.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

RESPONSIBLE FOR:

1. Provide efficient and courteous service to all customers at all times. 
2. Always exhibit ‘hands on’ and direct approach with customers.
3. Trash pick-up throughout entire lot.
4. Hanging of signs as necessary.
5. Replacement of burnt out light bulbs and stained ceiling tiles.
6. Ensure landscape is appealing. Freshly cut grass, trimmed, swept, watered and trash emptied.
7. Ensure sales lot, storage closets and outside storage shed are orderly, clean and free of debris.
8. Complete minor building repairs.
9. Ensure security fence is operational.
10. Assist in the movement of furniture as necessary.
11. Paint building, fence, lane lines as necessary.
12. Facilitate the movement of sales vehicles around sales lot as needed.
13. Ensure all building supplies are properly inventoried and adequately stocked.
14. Ensure all fluids are properly inventories, well stocked and the use is properly billed.
15. Set the field. Turn the field after sale day.
16. Assist with reconditioning as needed.
17. Assist with transportation as needed.
18. Facilitate the movement of vehicles around the sales lot as necessary.
19. Work well independently as well as a team player.
20. Timely communication of issues that may be deemed as detrimental to the success of operations to Management.
21. Performs other duties as necessary.

Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent 
• Experience: Previous maintenance experience preferred.
• Skills: Should be highly organized, self motivated and self disciplined. Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
• Requirements: 
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
• Environment: The environment of the Maintenance/Janitorial employee involves being subject to temperature changes, all types of weather conditions, elevated noise levels and at times fumes and odors associated with vehicle exhaust at times.
