Maintenance

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs (minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.)
   
• Assist with custodial tasks, including cleaning restrooms, classrooms, and common areas
   
• Maintain school grounds (trash pickup, snow removal, salting sidewalks, light landscaping, etc.)
   
• Inspect and report on safety hazards or needed repairs
   
• Set up and break down furniture for school events or assemblies
   
• Assist with seasonal projects (e.g., classroom prep before school year, holiday decorations)
   
• Ensure that all maintenance work is performed in accordance with school and safety standards
   
• Work collaboratively with administration and staff while respecting the mission and values of a Catholic school

• High school diploma or GED required
   
• Previous experience in general maintenance or custodial work preferred
   
• Basic knowledge of maintenance tools and techniques
   
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks
   
• Self-motivated with good time management skills
   
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
   
• Willingness to respect and support the Catholic mission and values of the school
