Position Summary: Wilks Brothers is looking to add someone to our maintenance team. The schedule will be Monday-Friday, 8:00-5:00, with overtime when necessary.

Key Roles / Responsibilities: 

• Care for established lawn by mulching, trimming, mowing and edging.


• Operate vehicles and powered equipment such as mowers, tractors, chain saws, electric clippers and pruning saws.


• Prune or trim trees, shrubs, and hedges using shears, pruners, or chain saw.


• Gather and remove litter.


• Maintain and repair tools, equipment, and structures.


• Provide proper upkeep of sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, fountains, planters, or other grounds.


• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that all machinery continues to run smoothly, and repair as needed.


• Work with team members in completion of all duties necessary to properly maintain and care for properties.


• Feed and water cattle and/or other livestock including deer and elk


• Check and maintain fences and water gaps.


• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications:

• High School graduate or equivalent. 


• Sensitive to confidential information. 


• Able to read, speak and write in English.


• Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize and accomplish work.


• Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships and maintain them over time.


• Strong work ethics of integrity and honesty strives for excellence in all activities employing accompanying communication.


• Dependable, reliable and capable of fulfilling responsibilities.

Working Conditions:

• Bending, lifting, climbing, pushing, pulling, kneeling, sitting stand, walk, kneel, stoop, squat, pull, push, climb, crouch, crawl, talk, hear, and see and standing (occasionally) for long periods of time.


• The essential duties of this position require moderate to heavy lifting and carrying.


• Exposure to moderate noise levels, vibrations, and bright lights; and exposure to dust, fumes, and gases; and all climate types including hot and cold temperatures, humidity, rain, snow, etc.


• Able to wear common protective or safety equipment such as safety shoes, glasses, gloves, hearing protection, breathing protection, and hard hats when needed.


• Able to work under stressful conditions at times.

• React quickly using hands, fingers, or feet.


• Must be able to comprehend and follow written and oral instructions.


• Must be able to complete tasks even with frequent interruptions.


• Must be able to use discretion and independent judgment as needed.


• Must be able to speak clearly on the phone and to fellow workers.
