Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Wallwork Truck Center is looking for a Maintenance employee to help maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment!

In this role, you’ll be essential in supporting our team by keeping the service shop and the surrounding areas clean and properly maintained.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or GED required.

Skills & Abilities

• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.


• General understanding of building grounds and cleaning standards.


• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.

Responsibilities

• Maintain overall cleanliness and organization of the shop facility.


• Empty all shop garbage containers and metal dumpsters.


• Clean and maintain applicable areas, including old wash bay floor and surrounding areas.


• Remove garbage, scrap materials, and debris from work bays in coordination with the Shop Foreman.


• Service and maintain the floor scrubber, ensuring it is operational and properly maintained.


• Maintain the tool room by keeping it clean, organized, and free of debris.


• Collect, organize, and properly store shop supplies in their designated locations.


• Restock shop consumables including soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.


• Clean and sanitize both shop restrooms daily.


• Clean and maintain shop sinks.


• Perform minor maintenance and coordinate repairs needed for shop equipment and facilities.


• Sweep around service bays, shop floors, bay doors, and surrounding work areas.


• Inspect basement areas and ensure they remain free of leaks, spills, and hazards.


• Conduct monthly inspections related to KPA and OSHA compliance requirements.


• Identify, address, and document leaks, spills, and potential safety hazards.


• Support preventive maintenance initiatives and shop safety programs.


• Uses power equipment such as forklifts, carpet extractors, pressure washer, snow blower, power hand tools, and power tools in making minor maintenance repairs and maintaining grounds, walkways and parking areas.
