The Opportunity: Administrative Assistant – Maintenance Support

We’re seeking an organized, proactive, and upbeat Administrative Assistant to join our Maintenance Service Team. You’ll provide essential administrative support focused on accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness.

In this role, you’ll thrive if you:

• Excel in a fast-paced, high-energy environment with trucks coming and going, phones ringing, and priorities shifting.


• Are comfortable working with a wide range of people—drivers, dispatch, accounting, sales, customers, and more.


• Can juggle competing tasks with a positive attitude and a team-first mindset.


• Have experience working in administrative roles, especially in logistics, transportation, or service-based industries.


• Are tech-savvy and quick to learn new systems; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Order parts for trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment


• Receive and track incoming parts


• Issue and close purchase orders (POs)


• Invoice completed work orders


• Support the maintenance team with administrative and clerical needs

Location:

Mount Vernon, WA – conveniently located just north of Highway 20 in the scenic Skagit Valley. Please note: This is an operational recycling facility with regular vehicle traffic, dust, and noise.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires occasional walking, standing, bending, climbing, and lifting up to 30 lbs. Good vision, hand-eye coordination, and quick reflexes are necessary.
