Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with maintenance, facilities, and engineering teams to ensure equipment reliability and maintainability.
- Develop engineering solutions to address repetitive failures and operational issues.
- Provide technical support to maintenance and technical teams.
- Investigate equipment failures, diagnose issues, and recommend corrective actions to meet product quality standards.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Lead root cause and breakdown analyses using methods such as 5-Why and Cause Mapping.
- Train and coach teams on reliability principles and continuous improvement.
- Lead the development of preventive, predictive, and precision maintenance programs, including:
- Oil analysis, vibration analysis, infrared imaging, motor current analysis, ultrasound analysis
- Laser alignment, lubrication routes, roll management, torquing, calibration
- Preventive maintenance optimization
- Asset care planning
- Prepare and/or modify drawings, specifications, calculations, charts, and graphs.
- Provide technical training on plant systems and functions.
- Assemble and review bid analyses, making recommendations as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in an industrial environment as a Maintenance or Reliability Specialist (or equivalent).
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to engage, develop, and lead work groups to achieve plant goals.
- Commitment to creating a safe, cooperative, and productive work environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology.
- Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) or SMRP certification.
- Physical Demands
- Ability to move throughout the plant environment, including climbing stairs and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent reaching, stooping, and kneeling.
- Occasional computer work at a desk or workstation.
