Job Summary
We’re looking for a hardworking maintenance technician to join our team! You will provide services to our clients for repair, maintenance and installation in our Chutes Department.
About Us: Giant Enterprises is a small business based in Roswell, GA that covers the Atlanta Metro area as well as the FL/AL panhandle and Nashville, TN. This job is based in the Lithia Springs shop. We are a leading supplier to businesses for their odor control and scenting needs, as well as trash/linen chute repair, maintenance and installation. Our main clients are Multifamily high-rises, hospitals, and commercial office buildings.
This person will be trained to provide service to customers that need service on their trash, linen or recycling chutes and chute doors.
Responsibilities
- Inspect customers chutes to insure they are properly operating and give quotes for repairs needed.
- Use technology to have quotes and work orders signed and emailed to property managers.
- Includes inspections of chutes to ensure they meet proper fire code.
- Troubleshoot and repair chute doors, discharge doors, containers as requested by customer
- Assist in the installation of new chutes for general contractors
- Review shop inventory and report items that need to be ordered
- Maintain company vehicle as needed
- Keep a record of completed repairs and turn in work completed for invoicing.
- Handle shop additional maintenance tasks as needed
- Occasionally receiving shipments and loading the vehicle for the days’ jobs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent
- Welding experience is a huge plus
- At least 2-3 years of maintenance or mechanical hands on experience
- Advanced understanding of maintenance equipment, procedures, and techniques
- Excellent work ethic, communication skills, time management skills, and attention to detail

Our model is high touch service the Atlanta, GA metro area, Nashville, TN, and the Florida/AL panhandle while reaching the southeast for General Contracting work.
