As a Maintenance & Metal Fabrication Specialist at HCo., you will play a crucial role in the installation and commissioning of our 2.0 Facility, North America's most advanced automated Batch 1 production line. You will work closely with global experts to assemble and install machinery, including electrical systems, and operate heavy equipment, all while ensuring the highest quality standards are met. Your responsibilities will also include fostering a safe and organized workspace, documenting progress, and be a critical team member in the success of the deployment of HCo 2.0. 

Requirements

What You’ll Do

• Work alongside experts to install and commission HCo 2.0
• Precisely assemble machine components, ensuring proper alignment.
• Fabrication & Finishing of components & assemblies to support the installation & commission of HCo 2.0.
• Operate lifts and heavy equipment for machinery positioning.
• Work with project scheduling software and design to keep all parties aligned
• Communicate effectively with the team
• Interpret and follow blueprints and technical instructions.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.

Essentials We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in machine assembly, maintenance, and focus on metal fabrication. 
• Proficient with computer tools for documentation, planning, scheduling, and team communication.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and systems installation.
• Adept in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Experienced in operating lifts and heavy equipment (certification preferred or willingness to obtain).
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and physical abilities, including lifting, working at heights, and performing manual tasks for extended time.
• Positive attitude, growth mindset, and adaptability to new challenges.

Bonus Points

• Forklift certification or prior experience in rigging operations.
• Experience working on large-scale industrial installations.
• Familiarity with automated manufacturing systems and components.

Benefit Classification: Non-exempt, Hourly, Full-time

Salary Range: $27.00 - $29.00 per hour

Education/Work Experience: High-school, AA, BA/BS, MA/MS, PhD? Seasoned expert or entrepreneur? All encouraged to apply. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a maintenance position.
