Maintenance Assistant

1. Basic Facility Support
   • Assist with simple tasks like changing light bulbs and restocking supplies.
   • Help move tools, equipment, and furniture as directed.
   • Run errands or deliver items within the facility.
   • Light painting tasks
2. Light Cleaning Duties
   • Sweep, mop, or tidy up work areas as needed.
   • Empty trash bins and assist with recycling duties.
   • Wipe down surfaces and keep storage areas organized.
3. Support Senior Maintenance Staff
   • Hold tools, carry materials, and assist during minor repair jobs.
   • Follow instructions carefully and ask questions when unsure.
   • Help keep workspaces safe and free of hazards.
4. Routine Checks
   • Walk around the building to check for basic issues like burned-out lights, leaks, or spills.
   • Report any problems to the maintenance supervisor immediately.
5. Safety & Cleanliness
   • Always follow safety rules and wear proper gear (like gloves or safety glasses).

• No prior experience required training provided on the job.
• Willingness to learn and follow directions.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Able to do light physical work (lifting up to 30 lbs, standing for periods of time).
• Friendly, team-oriented attitude.
• Driver's License

• Down-town Seattle

• 5 months with possible extension
• $20 - $22 per hour, 40 hours per week
