Dove Healthcare – Superior is looking for a Maintenance Assistant to help keep our skilled nursing center and assisted living residence safe, comfortable, functional, and looking its best.

What You'll Do


Every day brings something different. Your responsibilities will include:



  • Performing a wide variety of building and property maintenance

  • Scheduling and completing preventive maintenance

  • Monitoring and maintaining building systems

  • Inspecting units and the overall property for maintenance needs

  • Handling basic plumbing repairs, fixture replacements, drain snaking, and leak repairs

  • Performing basic electrical troubleshooting and fixture/device replacements

  • Painting and completing interior and exterior touch-ups

  • Maintaining landscaping, grounds, and outdoor areas

  • Assisting with lawn care and seasonal snow removal

  • Traveling to additional properties as needed

  • Coordinating and overseeing contractors

  • Keeping projects within established expense limits

  • Maintaining accurate maintenance logs and records

  • May cover after-hours maintenance emergencies as needed

  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment

  • Providing friendly, professional service to residents, contractors, and coworkers

  • Following all applicable safety regulations and procedures

  • Other duties as assigned


What We're Looking For


You don't need years of experience to get started. We're looking for someone who is dependable, motivated, organized, and willing to roll up their sleeves and get the job done.


Requirements include:



  • Must be 18 years of age or older

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

  • Ability to plan and carry out repair or projects

  • Basic knowledge of record keeping and cost estimating

  • Strong organization and time-management skills

  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally

  • A positive, courteous attitude and commitment to excellent customer service
