Decatur Manor is seeking an EXPERIENCED Maintenance Floor Tech to join our team at its facility in Decatur, Illinois. The position available is Full-Time (Non-Exempt) with an 8-hour day shift.

Responsibilities of the Floor Tech:

· Report all issues with floors to Maintenance Director

· Troubleshoot any and all kinds of emergencies or urgent repairs

· Maintain the cleanliness of all floors

· Assist with daily work orders

· Assure the proper maintenance and running condition of all Floor equipment

· Perform minor repairs and do routine maintenance

· Inspect and repair all damages to building surfaces

· Adhere to quality standards and health and safety regulations

· Cleaning activities such as dusting, mopping, etc.

Requirements

• Previous experience in floor maintenance and general labor strongly preferred (please show on resume this experience)
• Previous experience working in a skilled nursing facility or hospital preferred
• Must be compassionate, tolerant and understanding of older adults
• Must pass a comprehensive background check and be deemed eligible for hire by IDPH. Fingerprinting may be necessary for eligibility.
