Maintenance- General Labor

The General Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a variety of facility and equipment cleaning, maintenance support, and housekeeping duties, including:

• Cleaning and wiping down oven wickets and conveyor chains.


• Cleaning, preparing, and painting the interior and exterior surfaces of ovens.


• Performing general cleaning and housekeeping activities throughout the machine shop.


• Cleaning and preparing machinery and equipment for overhaul and repair work.


• Completing a variety of entry-level maintenance tasks and other assignments as directed by the supervisor.


• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

• Ability to read and write effectively.


• Basic math skills, including the ability to add and subtract whole numbers.


• Ability to follow instructions and work safely in an industrial environment.
