Position Overview 

The Warehouse Maintenance Lead is responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the warehouse. This includes maintaining warehouse duties as needed and light maintenance. The role involves collaborating with warehouse leadership as well as outside vendors to maintain equipment inventory, maintain warehouse organization, fixing or replacing broken or damaged equipment, and adhering to safety and compliance policies within the warehouse. This role is critical to supporting daily warehouse operations and ensuring a safe and clean working environment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.

How You’ll Help Us Improve Healthcare

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing routine checks on equipment, systems, and facilities to identify potential problems


• Fixing or replacing broken or damaged equipment or systems such as lights, plumbing, and HVAC


• Implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize breakdowns and extend lifespan of equipment, when necessary


• Following safety procedures to ensure the workplace is clean, organized, and free of hazards


• Installing and maintaining equipment as well as ensuring their proper use


• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory


• Follow written and verbal instructions from supervisors


• Work collaboratively with other team members and outside vendors


• Collaborate with warehouse leadership to ensure repairs are resolved and appropriate inventory stock is sufficient


• Lead by example in all areas including the code of conduct, safety and cleanliness of the warehouse, reliability, and productivity


• Willingness to perform other related duties as assigned
  

A Few Things About You

• High school diploma or equivalent


• Previous warehouse and maintenance experience is preferred with at least 1-year in a lead or supervisory role


• Strong attention to detail to ensure equipment and facilities are running smoothly


• Ability to work well within a team environment and take direction from managers


• Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize deadlines in a fast-paced environment


• Knowledge of facility and equipment safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
  

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment up to 50 lbs


• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods


• Physical ability to operate equipment and machinery


• Comfort with working in a warehouse setting, including exposure to various environmental conditions (temperature, noise, etc.)
