Position Overview:

As the Maintenance Manager, you will lead and oversee the plant maintenance team, ensuring the safe, timely, and efficient operation of all plant machinery and equipment. This hands-on role requires effective supervision of a dedicated team while working collaboratively with operations to minimize disruptions and maintain high productivity.

Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Strategic Maintenance Planning: Contribute to strategic plans by providing maintenance insights; ensure adherence to           production, productivity, quality, and      customer-service standards; resolve maintenance-related issues.
• Financial Management: Develop and manage the maintenance budget; monitor expenditures; identify and address variances.
• System Evaluation and Reliability: Assess the functionality and reliability of facility systems; collaborate with operating      departments to identify and address issues.
• Preventive Maintenance: Implement and manage a preventive maintenance program; oversee system and equipment testing;           repair or replace faulty components.
• Continuous Improvement: Analyze performance results; recommend and implement improvements to enhance system reliability and efficiency.
• Safety and Compliance: Maintain a safe and compliant work environment by following standards, procedures, and legal           regulations.
• Knowledge Development: Stay current with industry trends through educational opportunities and technical publications.
• Maintenance Scheduling: Prepare schedules; assign and oversee work; manage KPIs.
• Process Control: Implement process controls to minimize production, quality, and on-time delivery issues. 

Knowledge and Skills:

• Technical Expertise: Proficient in PLC equipment and troubleshooting; experience with Dude Solutions or CMMS software.
• Maintenance Techniques: Knowledgeable in plant equipment repair, installation, and maintenance; experience with CNC machines preferred.
• Leadership and Supervision: Skilled in supervising, training, and evaluating maintenance staff; adept at managing performance and resolving issues.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Familiar with OSHA and environmental regulations; understanding of electrical codes and practices.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions; interpreting complex technical           instructions and variables.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to perform moderate to heavy lifting; reaching, kneeling, crawling, climbing; and standing for prolonged periods.

Qualifications:

• Education: Degree preferred; equivalent experience, education, or trade school acceptable.
• Experience: 3-5 years in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment; heavy manufacturing experience preferred.
• Skills: Solid leadership, technical, and decision-making skills; experience with electrical, welding, plumbing, and mechanical      repairs; CNC machine maintenance experience highly desirable.
• Availability: Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
