Maintenance Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team.  The opportunity comes with a 47-year old privately held business that is in a phase of growth, actively seeking talent to continue to improve on a successful department. Much of the existing equipment has been completely rebuilt and many new pieces of equipment have been added over the last 4 years. We are lucky to have tenured maintenance technicians and strong support from outside contractors & our other facilities. Aluminum Extrusion maintenance experience is preferred but not a requirement. 

Responsibilities:

· Supervising a team of up to 16 maintenance technicians, a maintenance planner, and parts purchaser. 

· Planning scheduled maintenance shutdowns

· Working with production to improve processes

· Ensuring PM’s are being completed properly and timely.

· Continuing to build CMMS system with new PMs and mean time between failure analysis 

· Improving spare part storage and management 

· Organizing contractors for projects 

 · Education: Preferred degree in engineering or industrial maintenance. 

· Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance leadership role in manufacturing environment. 

· Technical Skills: Technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Experience with drives, PLCs, and HMIs is preferred

· Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage the maintenance team and collaborate with other departments.

· Organizational Skills: The ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. 

· Safety Compliance: Knowledge of safety regulations for manufacturing environments to ensure a safe working environment.
