About the Role


We’re looking for a Maintenance Manager to lead and optimize the maintenance function at our Hugoton plant. In this role, you’ll oversee all equipment and technical operations, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory standards. You’ll manage preventative and predictive maintenance programs, control costs, and drive continuous improvement to maximize operational efficiency (OEE).


You’ll also lead small-scale capital projects, manage contractors, and serve as the plant expert for technical regulatory requirements, including Process Safety Management (PSM). This is a hands-on leadership role that requires strong technical expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to build high-performing teams.


What You'll Do



  • Oversee maintenance of processing and packaging equipment, utilities, and automation systems.

  • Lead maintenance, planning, and storeroom teams to ensure optimal performance.

  • Collaborate with Production to schedule preventative maintenance and minimize downtime.

  • Build and develop world-class mechanical and preventative maintenance teams.

  • Manage outside contractors for installations and projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution.

  • Drive safety initiatives and enforce compliance with all safety requirements.

  • Develop and implement measures to improve equipment performance and product quality.

  • Analyze and resolve technical issues, providing sustainable solutions.

  • Maintain accurate time and maintenance records; manage departmental budgets.

  • Lead small-scale capital projects, including contractor management and commissioning.

  • Act as a contributing member of the site's Food Safety Team and ensure HACCP compliance.

  • Regular and predictable attendance is essential.

About You



  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field required.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including aseptic and wet manufacturing experience.

  • At least 5 years of experience managing people and projects.

  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills across equipment and automation systems.

  • Experience with TPM/WCM methodologies.

  • Familiarity with Process Safety Management (PSM) is a plus.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP CMMS.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to make data-driven decisions.

  • Proven ability to reduce costs, manage timelines, and drive long-term improvements.

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills; able to build and inspire teams.

  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
